Uplifting Women in Hospitality
Championing the empowerment and growth of women across Ghana's hospitality value chain.
Empowering the Heart of Ghana
Uplifting Women in Hospitality (UWIH) is a flagship program of the Ghana Tourism Federation (GHATOF) dedicated to the professional growth of women in the sector.
Women constitute over 70% of the workforce in Ghana's hospitality industry, yet they are often underrepresented in leadership roles. UWIH was established to bridge this gap, providing women with the tools, networks, and confidence to transition from service roles to ownership and executive management.
Our mission is to create an inclusive hospitality ecosystem where every woman has the opportunity to thrive, innovate, and contribute to the economic prosperity of our nation.
